 Ron,
I don't think Tim could make it the last time I mailed him, problems with trains and the like.
 16 then.
I'll give it another day and then do the final booking.
yes i wont be able to make it again I hope you all have a great day out
Please count me in! Ron I'll help out with anything including the fly tying, although my fishing and casting is not up to touch! I was tying with Andy at Chatsworth last year and remember you lot turning up. I have just asked a few of our tyers and some the people at Andy's local to help out. We should be able to get one or two people.
I'll post if I hear anything, Neil Thomas (NT).
 You will be welcome Neil.
All I want to do in terms of fly tying is to put together 5 flys, a dry, a nymph, a buzzer, a traditional and a lure.
The flies will be:
1: Black Gnat 2: Damsel Nymph 3: Black buzzer 4: Mallard & Claret 5: Woolly Bugger
These 5 flies have caught me thousands of trout, both brown and rainbow in 5 countries. The dressings incorporate a mixture of basic tying skills.

just spoke to my dad and he's confirmed.
i'm right looking forward to it.
 Ron,
Do you know what patterns are currently catching at Press Manor?
Also, the hackle on your SA Damsel. Is it left as a standard wet hackle, or is it tied down as a beard hackle?
Cheers,
Adrian
P.S. 1 week today. Anyone seen a long range forecast?
 Standard wet hackle.
saw the forecast on country file today but it only went up till thursday, that was getting colder and wetter all through the week.
Where is it? Have I missed it?
 Ignore last...
(mental note, read start of threads in the future)

Just a few words on the rules of the fishery for Saturday.
Hooks no larger than 10
No boobies
Barbless or de-barbed hooks.
Max catch and release limit: 12 fish.
The first angler to reach 12 fish shall be the winner - thats if the fish are biting well.
 Forecast for Chesterfield Saturday.
Max Temp: 12 deg C
Partly cloudy, west wind.
Could be OK. Hopefully some rain in the week. Could see a few midges hatching.
And buy the way, those of you who are new to fly fishing, please come correctly attired.
A decent hat and specs or sunglasses are vital.
Don't want to be having to spend the day taking out hooks.
A decent hat? I'm bringing those with me.
will anyone be requiring a lift from any of the local train/bus stations as i live at ilkeston and its only a ten mins away from press manor and derby etc so if anyone does need a lift/picked up i can do it.
What's the fastest time for 12 fish caught from there then Ron?
Could be a long old day if these flies I've tied are a hit and I catch my limit within the first hour !!!!
I've had 12 in less than 2 hours, but that was in May with buzzers hatching
I had 15 fish altogether with my take-home limit.
