I managed to get some from my local tackle shop as what I dad read on the web site interested me. when I got home I thought I would try to see what they were like when soaked after a few minutes I took one out of the water to see it crumble, all I had to hook was a lump of wet meat or whatever hope it doesn't work like that when I am down on the lakes. ( or maybe its me)

did you try and hook the feed pellets?

It's the hook pellets that are the clever ones.

The feed pellets come with a small packet of hooker pellets inside . I agree with Jonny and think you were probably just soaking the feed pellets....and they turned to mush as thats what they're designed to do underwater , providing a nice 'bed' of feed . The hooker pellets are best soaked for about 3/4 minutes just to loosen up the skin a bit .

Definitely seems like you soaked a feed pellet instead of a hooker pellet.

Tried them on a water that should have been tailor made for them. Unfortuately no one has told carp and tench about them. Never had a bite and returned to good old fashioned corn, meat, worm and paste. Call me a sceptic but another idea that catches more anglers than fish....

I won £100 worth of Skinz pellets, feeders, flavours, colours etc in "Improve your course fishing", and tried them out yesterday and was very impressed with them.

The feeder pellets make a great slop groundbait when soaked and I also added some red dye and halibut flavouring and made the hookers red too,The Hookers stay on the hair really well.
I caught my PB Carp of 17 pound and 5 others to 12 pound in 3 hours.
Im not that in to Carp fishing being a Pike angler first and foremost but with Skinz I am tempted to do a lot more carping.
They certainly live up to the hype(IMO)
