Great pics. Agree, that's the best Andy looked all weekend! Spent most of it asleep on his bedchair!

Sywell write-up just gone up. Sorry the editing hasn't been done as carefully as usual but I'm not in the office tomorrow and I thought you'd want to read it and see the pics asap.

Fred thought you were coming.

(Well done everybody) they were all terrible, but i suppose they did there best couldnt rely on most off them if you really needed too though.

Great write up, really captures the friendly atmosphere and fun over that weekend.

And yes Les, some of thoses swims were a looooooong walk away. One of the photos is me pushing my barrow the last 50 yards back to the car. It's a bit far away to tell but I was absolutely knackered.

Would have twice as bad without the barrow though.

Yes Paul looking at the lot of you , none of you looked fit. Perhaps we could have a keep fit weekend for all of you ?.

Go for it Speci

I must say that when I saw Speci's tench go one the mat I was absolutely gobsmacked!!

I've never seen a tench that size before in real life, it was huge!  Brummie and myself just looked at each other, I estimated it at 8.08 and Brummie agreed near about.  When it took the scales over ten my eyes popped out!  I was in an absolute state of shock!  They don't go that big in my neck of the woods, well, not very often.  Speci was as casual as you like, probably because he was still half asleep.  I remember saying to Brummie "FFS tell him what he's just done!"  It really was a fish of a lifetime and I would have been more than proud to have caught it myself.  Well done Speci it was an absolute clonker!

What a fantastic write-up from all and some lovely pics too.

I think that was one of the best fish-ins we've attended so far, the combination of the organising by Mark, the charity auction by Cakey for a fabulous cause and Wols BBQ made it a brilliant weekend.  We thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the lack of fish!

Unfortunately the 6 kilos of esterberry boilies that I put in (recommended by Wol.........GIT!) didn't work!

It was great to meet some new friends and of course meet some old ones again too and a priveledge to fish the famous Sywell reservoir and see some of it's inhabitants.

Fingers crossed we can get the venue that we discussed for next years get together

Yes Steve gotta admit what a fish, saw him playing it through my bino's on the other side, watched you all weighing it, had it down for about 7lb 10oz from where i was sat

Are you sure it was  10lb 2oz?, and not 7-10oz?.

Hell here we go, not used to this.

Well done Speci, there ive said it.

 God that hurt's

Or me with him.   Nice meeting you and Wendy Steve.

Tell me Steve, is he gay?. Bit worried about spending the day in a boat with him, sounds like a horrible man from what ive been told .

 Is it true?.

 Keeps asking me about humbugs,
