Gary "borrowed" a dozen maggots about halfway through and won the match with them.  Since then his confidence has grown, he "borrows" half a pint now,  a can of sweetcorn and a bag of method mix and proceeds to blow the opposition away aided and abetted by the previous night's curry.   His winning tactic in the breakfast queue is to let go a rasper thus clearing the queue and the serving wench is so busy holding her nose she doesn't notice him sneaking off without paying. On top of that he usually cadges a lift so he doesn't have to worry about petrol costs and then swans off without buying the beer.  What a man eh!
And last week he brings me down a superb homemade curry, beers, a lickle table to put it all on, a DAB radio, so we sat and listened to talk sport, eating a great curry, drinking a cold beer on a gorgeous evening whilst fishing for Bream. Following day he says "ey Wol, want me to pop down to shop and get some ice cold beer" I'm honoured i'd say.

The forcast is for light rain, and a little wind, (Sorry Gary)

AS IT IS THE FISHINGMAGIC DAY THE WIND IS BOUND TO BE GALE FORCE.

But lets all have a good day of fun and fishing.

Woody you can draw for me again this year.

OOOOOOOPS

Can't remember drawing for you last year, Mike. I know you got 3rd place.

There'll be no more of that though.

.

Not sure whether I will go still. Suffering a torn tendon and it's killing me at times.

How much water did he say to put in the Method Mix??  Mine's still "swimming" after 3 hours!

It looks as though I'll end up cupping it in instead.

Just chuck in a tin of tommy sardines and a box of reddy brek, that should sort it

Jeff, you should just about fit in my barrow.I'll wheel you into position!

Safe journey all.Just a few more rigs to tie and the last ton of method mix to load into the car.

Woody, there are pegs for people with mobility problems so you'll be alright.

As for the draw, I gave you the pools money and I said give a good peg and you did. As for finishing third that was the year before, Adrian drew for me that year.

I gave you the choice of pegs from the draw last year, get off of the sick bed, plenty of nurofen and out withe the feeder.
