A day of mini disasters for me I'm afraid.  It started with a fridge full of maggots that took ages to clear out and this at 5.30 a.m. which put me in a great mood for a days fishing.  A great breakfast at the pub for which Nigel deserves the praise for sorting it out.  Then, on arrival at the fishery carpark I discovered that the maggots had done an escape act yet again and Scott and I had to clear the boot to recover what we could.

Fishing for me was a non event as I never had a single bite and finally gave it best at 3 p.m. released the maggots (serves 'em right if the carp eat them) and retired to the pub to watch the second half of the cup final except the pub was shut so I had to sit in the car until 5 p.m. when they opened.

Still, I enjoyed the day though and its always good to meet up with everyone for a natter and a pint and I console myself in the knowledge that I donated a handful, yes, a whole handful, to Gary Knowles maggot collection in the carpark so at least I could sleep peacefully last night.

FAO Dickie and the Pons, the name that I so desperately tried to remember in the pub of that Worc Fed fishery on the Wye is Hoarwithy but I can't find any info on it on the web so not sure who owns it now.

Another excellent fish-in, big turn out and I don't mean me in the crapper.

Really nice to see old face's and meet new once, roll on Sywell .

Excellent day, thanks Graham, with a good breakfast to start off with thanks to Nigel. Apologies for not being able to stay for the pub, but had to take the better half out and I do really need the brownie points, especially as the river's only 4 weeks away.

Really nice meeting you all and putting faces to some of the names I see on the site. Here's to the next one. Cheers.

Thanks Nigel and Graham for another fine day out.  One of the best breakfast starts to the day I've had for a while.

Who said the pole doesn't work at Clattercote? I've just checked it thoroughly and it still appears to be in one piece (well you know what I mean!).

Right, now I can get back to my Crucian Crusade.

An enjoyable day (even if I didn't catch much!). Nice to meet up with old faces and make the aquaintance of new ones! The breakfast was a vast improvement on Tesco's - a pity about the paper plates though!

Although it rained a fair bit, at least there were no gale force winds howling towards the dam as is usual when Fishing Magc visits.

Another enjoyable fish-in my best one yet. Still not seen a carp though. The 4am start and not getting home till 11.30pm i could do with out.

Due to Graham getting a message from gary that the M6 was completely shut. So we went for a curry instead of sitting in traffic.

Just a thought but how would it be if we meet for lunch and fished into the early evening instead. Think there would be more fish showing.

I think that's a good idea Bryan.

Yet another fantastic FM fish-in, it was nice to see some new faces and old uns too.

The fishing was okay ish for me, but I'm sure that all will be told in the write-up.  Malc Doyle and I chuckled all day long..............oh how we chuckled

I'm not going near the boards next year!

The sausages and chips went down a treat, cheers FM

If anyone had their phone numbers in my moby, could you please e-mail me them again.

My moby went for a swim and to the delight of Malc it is well and truly buggered!  I will however be trying to retrieve the photo's of the beach caster rig in action from the memory card

Who's doing the write-up?

Oh and Risques sardine paste and my luncheon meat and fishmeal paste worked a treat!

As always a brilliant day all round. Lovely to see old friends and meet new ones.

The breakfast was awesome, let's never settle for Tesco's moribund fare again. Well done Nigel!

And to top it all I actually weighed in!!! See you at Sywell

What a cracking day yet again. Congrats to everyone involved, with a big thanks to Graham and Nigel for all their efforts. The breakfast was the best way to start a Fish-in.

Great to see some old and new faces. I'm still chuckling a Dad's boot full of maggots though!

Clattercote as moody as ever but always good to meet FM friends old and new.Fished next door to Bob Lancaster and Steve from Stourbridge.Seeing Bob's home made and beautifully finished floats was a pleasure. Good to See Steve along to a fish-in.Lets see you posting Steve now youve met us all in the flesh.

On the fishng front well done to Steve Wilson. He only had a bream in the net with an hour or so to go. Nice to see some good tench nets from Neil M and Dickie.Given Mark W had some good roach to well over a pound, I'd be well up for a roach session here in the winter.I reckon there must be some two's in there with few if anyone fishing for them.

Gald everyone enjoyed the breakfast.

Here's to next year God willing!

I must say a big sorry for leaving early and not going to the pub. I enjoyed the day very much although it might not seem it to some of you but to meet you in person was something i wanted to do for a long time you are a nice croud of guys and thanks for making me so welcome. As work over the past weeks has overloaded me i have been doing two jobs a day for a while and (sympathy welcome) am bloody tired and the long drive down and the excitement got the better of me i,m afraid so i decided ,having a 6 am start on sunday that i had to leg it home. But the fishing was great and i,m so glad i met you and enjoyed some time with you all, thanks to graham for supplying me with a new hat and to nigel for keeping me company all day.Anyway just thought i'd explain before you got the idea i was a total pratt, lol. Thanks again one and all.

Thanks to Nigel and Graham - really good breakfast and sensible organisation - practical start time- all went smooth as clockwork.

Excellent earlier suggestions - fishing noon to early evening and winter roach session - I'm up for that but not if I'm pegged next to Mark again (not only was he pulling out all the roach pausing only to tell me not to cast in his swim with my method feeder, but also complaining about me making all that noise on my platform!)  -  Only joking Mark - just upset those roach didn't want my maggots.  However two tench is fine for now.
