I had a short conversation with somebody the other week. He rates himself as a big Bream angler. He was telling me how another certain angler was a leech, because he watches where he catches from and then jumps on his peg at the fist opertunity. A week later, the self professed big Bream angler hot footed it to where another angler was catching and asked how far out was he fishing, and in which direction he was casting to. And what bait he was using. Personally, I don’t think there is anything wrong in that, we all help each other. But when they call other people for doing it, I think it’s about time they took a reality check on themselves. This is how it really works. The Bream anglers are watching the Carp lads like hawks. The carpers are the ones who are doing all the groundwork. So when you hear some of them spouting on about watercraft etc. I can tell you now, that it is a load of boillox. I can count the number of genuine anglers on this forum on one hand. The rest are shisters and wannabe's.

Hahaaaa, it's true though isn't it? Another thing the Bream anglers say is that they don't like bait boats. But isn't it strange how the bait boats and sonar used by the Carpers are the very things that have found most of the clear and shallow plateaue areas where the bream are? And then the shisters step in and note down in their little books where these spots are. Hippocrossy is a very funny thing when you begin to watch and listen to certain people. With a bit of luck, I will be out this weekend. I will let one of the Carp lads take my bait out for me in his boat useing his sonar. I will have a cast about with my other rod. I don't care which rod catches, although I am sure that the plonker watching me from the other side of the lake through his binoculars will soon let me know which rod it was that caught. What a pity his binoculars weren't for night vision, then he might have seen the 12 lb Tench that my mate caught.

Hi Baz, Glad to have you back. I quite agree. As a fan of the Dane yourself; you know how annoying it is to have spent weeks working out that treble maggot on 14 is the method for the specimen minnows only to have some sister or wallaby come along and ruin the meticulous planning by copping a few stupid chub on the same method! It makes one stamp ones tootsies in fury. Poshers
