I am fishing in Spain that week. I had a look at the list of folks who are going, give it to Fred Bonney or failing that Lee Swords, or come to that any one else from Sheffield as I nip over there a fair bit to see my old dad. Matt Brown is not on the list, is he going?, I work very close to where he lives in Doncaster. Thanks by the way, it will not just sit on my rod rack, I will use it when the rivers are closed for a few off the top. Its the only type of carp fishing I like these days.

The Jack Hilton brown coloured blanks were built on Sportex blanks not Conoflex. There was also a 1.5TC compound taper 11 foot model. The original blank price was £30 which seems a lot by todays standards. I owned both models in 1975/6 and used to catch 20's from Yateley Match Lake. The FT's replaced my Jim Gibbinson Clooper Carps.

He was takin the pith out of you, or was pithed himself. Got a good mind to paint his rod brown again, cheeky bugger. Ehh, Rocca show some respect, Mr White is getting on in year's and does his best.
