Certainly interested Mark, depends all on dates and how much money I have vs petrol costs though.

The more notice the better the chances though

Paul rough dates depend when enough people want it - ie early autumn or the back end. (feb onwards) I'll set some date's once we have enough feedback. Which would you prefer?

I always prefer feedback, but getting it is half the battle.  Any dates good for me but Feb first choice

Won't be a battle Trev..... If feedback is poor it wont go-ahead!

The fish-in isn't for me, but for everyone who wants to be involved.

I'll give it two weeks.

I'm always willing to help at a Pike teach in.......only thing that worries me Mark is the state of Sywell as a pike water?

I also believe livebaits to be the best all round catcher of pike......how could we get around that one?

I aint fishing for two weeks !

Paul,

As a Idea for a fish-in I'm pitching the idea because:

1, The ranger suggested it is a good venue ( and would net us a free season ticket for charity).

2, A number of people at the tench weekend have been asking if it going to happen.

As a venue I think 'all round' it would as good  a pike water as a tench water. Ie.great results possible, but could be very difficult on the day.

Unlikley it would freeze. If it did - it would be  unlikley any other local venue would be fishable. If conditions were that bad I'm sure we'ed have a few day's notice. Then I'd cancell. We wouldn't have to pay in advance at that time of the year.

We could all go up the pub anyway.......

I'd say February too, only because I've got my eye on the Trent barbel fish-in Swordsy's doing in the autumn.

Cost of travel, two events etc...

It could be good..... But I think we will lack numbers........

start counting then......................how many do you need for it to be on ?

Im bringing two

Cakey +2

Mark have you got the pike stats on the place........that might help increase interest?
Show/hide user stats

If we can get 15 to 20 interested in the next couple of weeks,

Then I'll start looking to arrange it!

Pike stats are the kiss of death Steve......

I have thought about this Mark.........i will def come along, so will Tom.....another 2 mate.........

You bringing ya minders Cakes? ......... i best get some practice in on the mat if i want to hold on to my roaches!
