Nothing wrong with a few beers Mr Lynch but when it goes past a few which it nearly always does, that's where the problems begin, Theres more beer cans at the side of our rivers than fish in the rivers.

Yes go camping somewhere with your mates, and drink all you want, drink yourself silly, or stupid

Trust me lads its like 12 cans and all the junk ends up in my bin back home.I hate seeing lads leave there sh*t all over gets me well mad cause before fishing you got to spend 20mins cleaning up after them as ya do ! But hay its only a fue you to watch out for and im not one thanks anyway

Ok James after twelve tins during the night, do you drive safely home the next morning?.

After twelve tins you would not be fit to drive for 24 hours, I would see it more a shame you killed someone than a fish.

Sorry my own personal beliefs are fishing, driving dont mix

Get to bed Hewitt if your not putting your feet in the water..

"Get to bed Hewitt if your not putting your feet in the water.."

Fair enough. For me James you're digging a hole. If your after Barbel, then ask for a suitibel venue.

Fish/visit it and asses it for night fishing potential. Should it be suitable, and be able to accomidate a number of your friends then your in luck.

I've nothing against a group of anglers having a drink together while on the bank for long periods, but if you need twelve in order to enjoy yourselves - for me this is the wrong pastime for you.

Baz..........

12 cans? If you did have liability cover and had/caused an accident  on the riverbank I doubt whether you would be covered. Could end up losing at lot more than you think, even your life.

Why take the chance?

look pal i agree wi you totally if you and a few mates wanna have a bevvi in ya bivvi on them long biteless nights so be it forget all the moaners as long as no one gets hurt and the place is left clean and litter free and more importantly the fish are all returned safely then fill ya boots plus with the incresing amount of fish theft going on who in their right mind would come on a strech of river to steal fish which as half a dozen lads on it full of stella some nice streches of the dearne good for what you want pal around mexbrough and harlington

Bob Roberts is an expert on the South Yorkshire rivers James - why don't you pm him and ask for advice?

Dearn sounds a good bet to me, or any other river I dont fish.

A wind up IMHO.

Call yourself an angler James and only drinking 12 tins?
