I have all three of the above reels, I much prefer the Slosh, Indeed I have 2 of them, the inner workings are much simpler than the 7000,and they are not prone to any sort of corrosion.I use the Sloshes for Rock fishing.I prefer the 7000 for uptiding , I have converted it by removing the levelwind, which frankly is a Pain,its drawbacks are that it has alloy sideplates, and spools, they are a pain for corrosion, even if you flush them off after every trip as I do.. the Penns are "reel" workhorses,and tough as old boots.I use the Penn when Congering off the rocks in Cornwall.
I have a place for each of the named reels, and they all fit the bill for what I use them for
