Does the trakker specimin bivvy have a built in ground sheet, and is it worth paying the £169.99 that it costs????
thanks for any help
The Trakker is a great bivvy Tom. Not sure about the ground sheet being built in, but I don't think so. If I had the spare cash I'd get one.
Groundsheet seperate. I have an original Aqua Armadillo with super extended winter skin and it is brilliant, a doddle to put up and away packed up and in the bag with ground sheet in less than 2 minutes.

If I was to buy another bivvy, I'd go for one of the Venture ones, like the Venture razorback etc.

i have a trakker specimen with top sheet, absolute great bivvy and would buy another today if i needed. easy to set up and pack down and is quite roomy and at a push could be made to 2 man. all that for 170 quid. great value for money and good quality.

i have had 2 bedchairs in the specimen richard, a little tight but do-able. havent suffered with condensation unless using it without the top sheet. which is pretty much the same with most bivvy`s when used as single skin.

thanks alot dean i dont no alot about bivvys lol i dont think i like the seperate groundsheet . Is it not not the same in all bivvys tho. im a litttle bit worrid of insects and things getting under the bottom seems as the groundsheet is not attached and flies etc do you have this problem. does the ground sheet cover the whole ground inside also no grass showing etc . have u had any problems with the rain creaping in also like from under the sids running down the bank and your things getting wet inside the bivvy., sorry for asking so many questions but u no how it is when your looking for somethink lol i have to no everythink lol. would you recomend this bivvy mate and the 2 bed chairs was that in the 1 man yes.thanks very much mate really appreciate the messages back. rich
