I'm looking for a travel spinning rod for my trip to India and Indo China.

It should be around 9 foot long, capable of dealing with 20b plus fish from rivers and estuaries. It also needs to be multi-section, each no longer than 30 inches, so it will fit in my back pack. Ideally it will come with it's own protective tube, although that's not essential.

Around 80 quid max if possible.

Anyone got any ideas?

Shimano Exage... got to be, two lengths,powerful rods, have landed sharks from the beach in Florida,on them, slim , cant go wrong, comes in a Cordura travel tube as well, about £75.00 but shop around , you may find one cheaper.

just bought a shimano travel spin off ebay £60 new 5 piece 2.75 tc nice piece of kitthats with a cordura tube etc
