Given that we’re always interested in trying out new baits, has anyone tried using Rowntree’s Fruit Gums, or heard of anyone else who has? We just seem to try all manner of ‘fruity’ little baits and all kinds of fruit scented and fruit tasted groundbaits, so how about giving this little one a spin?

 

I’m certainly going to try it the next time I’m at the water where I use my ‘fruity’ tasting baits, and I’d be interested to hear of anyone else who might have tried it with (or without) success.

The bailiff at nellbridge fishery has used fruit gums/pastelles and had some good results. Not tried them myself but i'm sure i'll give it a go during summer.
