Hi,

I know this must sound absolutely stupid to the experienced amongst you, but how do you use these things? We have a three rod Korum rod holdall for 'made up' rods. Now I know that they won't fit without some form of dismantling (I'm not quite that dim), but all I seem to do is get in one hell of a tangle and end up chopping off about 3 metres of line and storing it as you normally would. There must be some way I can avoid this; you are quite welcome to laugh as you write, but take pity, I was very good to my mother.

first things first these are designed for a two piece rod.

1/take off your weight

2/put your hook on the first eye from the reel

3/take rod apart,be careful as this is a cause of tangles, place the tip end towards the reel and tighten just enough

4/fold the reel handle and place in the sleeve

5/zip up job done,as with all things practice makes perfect.failing this go into your local tackle shop and ask,if the shop is busy donot be embarressed to ask just do it quietly.

i hope this helps all the best and tight lines

Thanks Barney,

In fact I did the latter part of suggestion 5! The owner is very helpful and didn't make me feel foolish - well, no more than usual!
