help needed for the use of braid.

can i use braid fir say waggler fishing and feeder fishing or is it just for pike fishing and big carp hunters i would like to use braid more than just short lenghts when fishing the method feeder and is there a braid chart so i can print it out for future use so with all that what size braid would i need for the waggler or is that a bad idea or could i just use the braid stright through for swim feeder fishing

Braid is good for long range feeder fishing due to the sensitivity from it's lack of stretch.

It's strength to diameter is far greater than mono which also makes it good for lure fishing giving the casting distance of a much weaker mono combined with the strength to pull expensive lures out of snags.

Again the lack of stretch is favoured by pikers for it's increased sensitivity and therefore bite indication.

It's downside is, somewhat ironically, it's lack of stretch. I would not use it for float fishing for smaller fish as Steve says you can suffer hook pulls as there is no give in the line.

It's all about the right tool for the job, sometimes braid is best and others mono fits the bill.
