Extended lunch break today so had a wander down to Marsh Farm only to find Lee "find me a sponsor" Swords and Mike "I'm a Daiwa Man" Townsend encamped in the hot swims.

Now the thing is, last year, Lee wrote about the finesse of fishing for Crucians:

We Northern types are lightyears ahead!"

Well today I witnessed just how fine these northern types fish....what a load of b*!!*cks!  Mark Wintle was right, they do use 0.9 line not 0.09.There he was, two matching beachcasters, big pit reels, buzzers, swingers, chucking out some sort of "whirlygig bolt rig" all of 10 yards to the island expecting to catch Crucians.I think he's christened the style as "CRUDECIANS"

They're off to Mill Farm tomorrow after the Silver Bream, God help them!

Bet they catch tho!
