It's a lovely place when the lillies are up; It's supposed to be haunted too.

Boom Boom

Theres a nicer shot of it in keiths Gallery, actually it has some lovely Ghost Carp in it as well as some nice Tench, Crucians and Rudd.

We lived near it for 25 years before we even knew it existed.

Looks like a lovely place to be....just being.....and just fishing.

Yeah, but more importantly.... Does the pellet-wag and splasher float method work down there?

Seriously though, a thoroughly lovely looking water. You can almost picture the top of a quill gently lifting and then sliding away and under.

I'm afraid so Nobby, family members of existing members get 1st priority and then it's normally by members invitation only. with membership capped to a maximum of 250 (at the landowners request) although its normally kept at around 225. However members can take the occasional guest. There is a long waiting list as no-one seems to want to leave once they have fished there. (I wonder why?). The club has been running the water for well over 60 years, when it used to be very overgrown with lillies and full of wildies which over the years were replaced by the Leney strain of Carp. We have been careful to keep it a true mixed fishery and not just another 'Carp' fishery.

Yes and in 'the Proffesionals' and 'Alfvedersein pet' and a few other films over the years.

Aaaah, great, long lost Uncle Keith, we all thought you'd perished swimming the Bosphorous in '32. Welcome back
