A new book on angling will be out soon by Lord Paul entitled "My life in Angling" including some recommendations from angling giants

Here are some excepts from it to wet your appetite.

Martin Bowler " I had perfect eye sight till I fished with Lord Paul and he lent me some of his "maids in uniform magazines" now I'm like Mr Magoo"

Ron Clay "I was fine in Yorkshire till I fished a private lake belonging to his Lordship - I had to flee to SA for years till he'd called of his chips on bikes"

Matt Hayes " I was happily married - then I stay at Furkum Hall for a weekend - now I'm like a terrier - I can't pass a hole without sniffing down it"

Lee Sword "I used took take part in CND marches and Greenpeace rallies till Lord Paul lent my Mein Kampf"

Dick Walker (In his book "Confessions of a lawn mower man" ) "I learned everything I know about angling from watching M'Lud - after 3 years seeing his fish I just did the exact opposite of everything he did and I became a great angler"

Des Walker " I was a 9 stone chap who ran marathons till Lord Paul introduced my to port and stilton and cheese and onion pasties - now I'm rounder than J Lo's arse

The book is priced at £20 for the hard back copy or £200 or a special edition copy bound in the skin of a freshly culled seal pup - or an additional £100 you can club your seal
