Forum Updates - Help Guide

A Danny from 'Fish Hunters' has approached the head of our village primary school with a view to organising fishing lessons etc. for kids. She in turn has passed them on to me as I'm on the committee of the local angling club and a former governor of the school. Does anyone know anything about them?

TIA

Matthew

I've looked at the website.  Fish hunters seems to be an organisation based in the North West, offering angling tuition and selling fishing tackle.  The site has various articles and photos related to specialist angling rather than general angling

The site gives only limited information about the people who run it - two first names are mentioned, plus a mobile number, but there's no address.  There may be a tackle shop linked to the site, but the name isn't published.

I suppose they are hoping to gain more business by contacting schools and offering tuition.

I hope they have passed all the criterea that needs to be passed when working with kids? i had to just to help the local scout troop when my lad was part of it.

Hi All

I'm the Secretary of Southport & District Angling Association. Danny, the chap you are talking about is a NFA qualified level 2 coach. He has just completed the first of three junior angling days for us.

Check out News on <southportangling.co.uk>

He is qualified to work with children from ages 8 to 16.
