Hows that fishing these days? i was there after the floods last year, and he didn't tell us till we got there that it was pants and the only thing being caught was eels. (nice size though, i'll give him that). intending to go back, as it's a great looking place, and his bacon butty was spot on, lol, have you been recently?

yeh, i have been a few times since the floods and since  the restocking.
Its come back lovely.He has fully netted the specimen lake and dug all the silt out and restocked with carp to 25lbs.
These are new fish so when he first opened in april it obviously fished its socks off!
Things have settled down alittle as you would imagine now.The lillys have even started to come back so its looking lovely again.
The other lake has also been stocked with new fish and has the fish from both lakes that didnt escape into the stream last year and is fishing well also

Yeh i think he is there sometimes but the owner is there full time now,lives in the bungalow and he is really helpfull and nice guy.The peg i had reserved not long ago wouldnt take my goal post set up as it had a new platform installed so he lent me his own pod with alarms,was even concerned my mates unhooking matt wasnt large enough so he let him use his nice big cradle.Now thats someone who cares about his stock not like most owners who look upon them as a way to make money and thats all
