Where is the best place to buy Lures online ?

Have a good tow around on ebay, too - but buy only lure patterns you have seen in a shop. I mention this because there's some dross pattern stuff around - go for the big-name brands.

The shops do sometimes overdo it on mark-up. I got clobbered £8.99 for a plug I subsequently bought for £3.99 of fleabay (I got two to replace the one I lost, and had change).

THIS place seems to have reasonable prices and a good selection.

PAC Convention usually has loads of people selling lures. There are talks from several lure anglers this year as well.

I get virtually all my lures from the USA via e-bay. More often than not,the cost of the lures and the p&p is cheaper than buying from tackle shops over here. Also there is a hell of a lot more choice !!!

Further to Markthespark -

beware on ebay of any lure described as Rapala in packaging like this

IT'S FAKE!

I have reported them many times over and still the dealers are selling them. I've even emailed Ebay's law enforcement team and it's like talking to the deaf and blind.

Take it form me, these lures are being sold at up to £5 each and you can get them for 50p in the far east AND they're largely crap with poor hooks anyway.

here's another fake

Don't all Rapala lures say Rapala on the diving vane or on the belly?
