Whats the best stuff to use to re-proof the seams on my nylon brolly?

Go into Millets or Blacks for some of the reproofing stuff they sell. I think it's Fabsil, but I suspect there are much better things now.

Or if you are a complete cheapskate, use Damp Start (not to be confused wuth Easy Start) It's spray-on plastic for waterproofing HT leads in your car, but it works a treat if you spray it along the dodgy bits. Don't overdo it, though.

You'll also find that Ronseal products work very well as a proofing agent on your brolly (The stuff that does exactly what is says on the tin).

A darn site cheaper than Fabsil too.
I go along with Adrian , Ronseal or Thompson brick waterproof but it will stink for about 3 days so leave it out in the garden .
