I have recently started to visit my local roach and bream water as the weather has got colder and am looking to buy a new whip for fishing shallow for roach. Ideally it would be about 2/3 metres in length and very light and very responsive to hit the quick roach bites. It must be strong enough to bring in skimmers nd the odd perch upto about 1 pound also.  Any reviews or comments would be appreciated.

At that length glass whips are ok .

If you can getthem on e-bay, then the Milo Alborella whips are the best in my opinion, and I've used them for many years.
