I recently bought the above pram hood style bivvy off e bay secondhand (Never been used or erected).  However, it cam with no instructions for its erection.  Can anyone tell me if it needs stretcher bars or not as it has none.  & if it does where can I get them, as the manufacturer seems to have no website.

 Many Thanks

 Clynton

Watch the video here >>> http://www.trakkerproducts.co.uk/bivvy-video.htm

all pram-hoods go up the same way (with few variations) ignore the start and the front peak bit and there you have it a video showing how one goes up along with toooo much advertising.

1. Insert the poles together (middle one first then the outer ones.

2. Clip on tension strap or groundsheet if it has one

3. peg out back,

4. pull forward and peg out front peg out sides,

5. chuck all of your gear in.

Tension bars are not necessary, but they are a nice extra, (if you can justify the £30) they can be bought from Trakker or Aqua (others may make them but these are the two i know of,) from a local stockist (or the web)
