Well, it was long rumored that he could be the incredible bullshitting man....It's looking increasingly like he was.

There's a super fish on Barbel Fishing World today 14lb 8oz claimed and looks every ounce (in fact I would have probably believed more!)

there you go john thats why if you look at the claimed 16 in the at last week no depth and girth to it! a 14 is a very big fish and yes the ribble does hold them in a few spots but theyre still a rare creature and some obviously are recaptures

well guys the fish was 14lb 8oz coz i weighed her and took the pic even landed her ! !

Absolute cracking fish.. It's still 4lb odd short of the ribble record though. But maybe at the backend it could go 23lb if we get a mild winter and it gets it's head down now.

Now that would put a good bend in that cheap rod of yours Eric.
