Fished Almere yesterday, only for a couple of hours , with no luck.

My dad was fishing on the next peg and had some very big perch follow in roach that he was catching.

Might take some worms down there next time!

Anyone else fishing the dee this week?

Thanks Rich,

Might try Almere myself, although I'm worried my car may stick in the mud there!!

So I may take my chances at Farndon instead!!

matt , i was more concerned with the thread getting overrun by unrelated info to the dee, and theres possibly a little lost in translation

alan,

If you park in the first carpark on your right after the cattle grid, you should be ok mud wise. I know what you mean though, at least farndon carpark is gravel!

Had a bit of a shouting at by a caravan owner for parking next to the peg rather than next to the WAA sign, fair enough i suppose , but just to warn everyone else

Thanks Matt Corker for the good word.I`m sorry but i`m just fed up and cant be boudoir any more with this kind of stupid small minded comments.i`m getting use to it now and also i won`t get into any argument about foreigners or (and) locals getting fish out of the rivers------its legal in this country anyway so police and EA got nothing to do with it.Oh I forgot to mention last time I went on severn and had  17* barbel +chub+pike i just fried them on the bank and had couple of swans for a dessert.

Just because I AM WELSH MAN FROM POLAND

Next will be the Dee so stick to yours little pit and police it along with a ""angling times" that just thrive on stories like this. Don`t forgot to blow the all  think at lest twice of the proportions so many more Brits will spend more money on the tabloids and have more thinks to worry about!

Hi, has anyone been on the river recently? Went yesterday and it was still quite high.

Would it be possible for any dee anglers members to email me the map of the waters, as the tackle shops seem to be stuggling to get hold of them.
