Not unless you are planning to spend over £300 with them. I have bought from them in the past, their service is good but they are far from the cheapest.

So does my auntie Kathleen!

I've used them a few time - service is good and prompt.

I ordered a 2.75lb fox floodwater barbel rod from them. They didn't have it in stock so they offered me a TF Gear 'equivalent' with a 1.5lb test curve. Knob Heads!

Hello Neil, when I'm not shoplifting, I always shop around on line. I have found one of the best to be Poingdestres who advertise on this site, their prices and service are excellent. Leslies of Luton is another top quality mail order company.

It is, however, always worth giving your local tackle shop a go. If you are thinking of spending a few bob most shops with discount by 10% or more and save you paying postage.

I would not even contemplate paying £30 for a 10% discount card to anybody.

climax tackle take some beating for price and service got to agree with joey dont bother with the 10% discount card just chat to the shop direct and most will knock 10% off anyway .

I ordered two dave lane rods (£100 each) but they didn't have the test curve that I wanted so they offered me two TFG tremors(£150 each)at £120 each. The rods were all ready reduced from £300 and I've had loads from them, always a fast delivery and no problems

If I'm being thick please excuse me, but it does appear that Fishtec are pushing Matt Hayes gear. I have seen their catalogues, normally stuck in with the monthlies, and TFG does appear to be their mainstay.  With both examples of offering replacement goods featured in this thread, TFG ear has been offered as alternatives to Fox or Dave Lane "not availables".

In view of this, I would be sceptical about ordering from them. It may well be that they make more from selling TFG than other brands.  I've never used TFG products but they do appear to be heavily discounted.  Why?  Were they no good in the first place or too highly priced?
