I have an idea that Peter Drennan beieves that he doen't have to advertise.

You are right, you hardly ever see any advertising from the Drennan stable in any of the magazines.

Is this a daft question, but do Drennan need to advertise?
There reputation for quality tackle is well known. If they did advertise, would this make them produce equipment just to fill their catalouge? Which could result in them dropping their standards. Although it would be handy to be able to see their range of equipment.

not really baz they do a massive ammount of stuff as it is.

I think of all the companies than can get away without large amounts of marketing, Drennan is it.

However, I would be they're slowly loosing market share to Fox and Korda.

I bet Preston Innovations, Daiwa, Map and a few others sell more rods.

It's not a good idea to rest on one's laurels.
