Lucky you Tony, I just got the same box set for £30 and I think it's still a good deal, the Hayes 'n' Brown duet is well worth watching, a great team. Merry X-Mas

I enjoyed the Predators thing they did a couple of years back.

Yep, that was good too Chris, but I think it was Kev Green from A.T. who fronted that series.

is this the great rod race? ive got the same series except that mine is only 5 DVD's but it does contain every episode as well as special features. weird!

i have been so stupid by saying that... but it just seems to similar to it to not say.

Yes it is the great rod race.Been looking on e bay and it does owt between thirty to fifty quid, got it from that bid up tv shop in town,it started at £50.

I picked up this 10 DVD set (it's two series -"The Great Rod Race" and "Record Breaking Fish") on Price Drop TV (same firm as Bid-up of course) for £24 including post & packing. I was delighted at that price - so your purchase is a super bargain Tony! They are excellent series, the sort of stuff you can watch time and again.

Only issue is that this set does not appear to have the extras A5HL3Y refers to - but you can't always have everything.

I bought mine off Discovery Real Time channel. It cost 15 quid - per dvd, and as i said there were 5.

It just confused me because you said every fresh water fish in 10 days, but it is actually 30 days.

I am actually watching it as i write this, quality show!

ive only seen one of the episodes (the one after the brown trout) because i dont have sky and am too cheap to fork out the money for the box set!

my big question being do they do it?
Show/hide user stats
Ah but that would spoil it for Tony - unless he's had loads of spare time over the holiday!

35 fish, 30 days. i have a hard enough time getting 1 in 2 days

Only managed to see the first dvd so far and thought it was great viewing. The reason i've only seen one has a lot to do with xmas pressies of sky tv and a dvd recorder with 400 hours hard drive, about 15 hours fishing footage accumilated on it already.
Happy days........
P.s.not too bothered if someone lets it slip whether they did it or not,i would bet they do or come very close.
