I done a quick search through the forum on Ron Thompson gear and there seems to be a mixed opinion on the it. Has anyone here purchased the following kit....

It has been described in an email from a local supplier as follows:

The kit consists of 2 x Zensorflex 12 foot 2.5lbs rods,
2 x Dynadrag Pro BF 50 Baitrunner reels, 2 spare spools,
2 x Ron Tompson VT bite alarms with volume and tone adjustable settings and high visibility LED light, they are also rain proof and a Ron Tompson carp rod pod with swingers rod rests and a bag.

Any opinions on this gear would be welcome, I would be using the kit for occasional Pike deadbaiting.
