Jim Baxter raves about these new shot in a review in angling star and gives them 10/10.
Now no disrespect to JB, but I've never read a bad review about any product by him so I'd like a few more opinions before I part with the cash.
They do sound the part though, good quality soft lead that can be slid about on a rig without falling off and no line damage?

Somebody else asked about these a few weeks ago, but couldn't find anybody who stocked them. Dare I mention again that Walkers of Trowell have them and do mail order.
Not tried them yet Beecy but Jim told me they are the bees knees so i will be giving em a go. They come in red and white packing
I saw a guy fishing using them the other day and he said they are brilliant but ive not seen any in the shops yet. As per usual i forgot to ask where he got them from. doh

cheers graham, I did look for a review on here but could not find one last night.
Have you actualy used them then Graham? you say they are the best thing since real lead shot, so are they actualy made from lead or a substitute?
They're real lead, being a legal size, and they really are very good. I'd like to see them in bigger sizes but then they wouldn't be real lead and therefore probably not as good.
I'll go out and get some today, and add a review when ive tried them a few times.
Christ Beecy must have won the lotto, first broadband and now buying shot instead of cadging of his mate
I said I'd GET some John not BUY some.
I'll actually get my dad to buy them and cadg a few to try before I part with a fiver!
Why arnt you out fishing John? - you probably did the same as me, got up this morning, saw the Ice on the car and thought "sod it, footy on telly today"
Off tomorrow Beecy with Mike Townsend. Fishing the Derwent between Belper and Matlock after the Ladies. Usually fish Sat but Mike is working today, might have to cadge a maggot off him. You will have to come for a session sometime
I'll take you up on that John, getting a bit bored with my usual haunts, could do with being showed somewhere new.
No problem we will have a spell, never blanked on the Derwent so if i do tomorrow i will sell the tackle
bought some(8,9,10,11's) from daves of middlewich a few weeks ago; used them on 0.1 - 0.18mm lines and they are good... I still struggle to get the buggers on my line tho(but easier than No10 shot)and they're a bit shiny.
best new tackle item of the year. they work, ie stay on and you can juggle them on line and even close them with your fingers, this from someone who has struggled with both stle pincers and more recently a levapiombo-no need for these anymore. they are reuseable as well!

since this thread i have been using stotz almost exclusively and have raved about them on a few threads about shotting since.
I think I have found a slight weakness with them now though when fishing rod and reel, particulary the stick. I seem to be getting a lot more line twist when using one of these on the hooklength.
I still rate them as the best things ever for strung out shotting, but I am going to go back to using round shot or a styl for my last dropper
I've just started using them too and I'm very impressed. Easy to apply, easy to move and fairly easy to remove and even re-use.
I think the packaging could be improved a little as there is a tendency for them to want to spill out when you flip the lid. That's not a major problem if you're careful though.
id disagree there Matt, i think the dispencers are realy good design, the way you can scoop them back up out of your hand
have you noticed any twist problems ?
Found the same as you Dave. Not always, but I do get a little twist in the hooklength at times so I too use a round shot for the dropper. It can only be the flat end that causes the spin, but having to use a round shot on the dropper is a small price to pay for the advantage of these shot that are so easy to use.
