Want an unhooking glove that is good for the fish and for you read on..
I import a new unhooking glove, they are not hook proof or toothprooth all thiose type of gloves are too bulky/coarse for the fish and you loose all sensitivity. These gloves are Raker prook which is lets face it where 99% of our cuts come from. The gloves slide past the rakers and will not drag on them at all which is a bonus for the pike too, fish as small as 3 lbs are no problem at all which is saying something. They are sensitive enough to use multipliers with them on and allow you to open/close snaps with them on.
As a bonus they offer an added barrier against the dreaded Weil's disease plus you do not get the cuts in the first place for any infection to enter, Weils is not that common but it is something that you do want to avoid.
The gloves come in pairs in m,l,and xl and retail at less than the price of 1 of the alternatives, drop me a line if you want to know more or check out the "Chico's glove" thread on the lure section of P&P's site.
