I've just bought a Nash meduim range 11" feeder rod (from Ebay). Does anyone know what the test curve might be?

Would it be any good for trotting on a fast-flowing river - for the odd chub or barbel?

Cheers..

They don't say state the test curve so don't worry about it. I thought the Nash M-R's were only available in 12ft?

Anyway, it would be fine for smaller barbel close in but it's only designed for lines of around 3 to 6lb so it might be a bit undergiunned for bigger barbel.

You won't hit as many bites as you would with a proper float rod and it'll tire you out on long days, if you used it for float fishing, but it's still a cracking rod.

A few of my mates use them for roach and perch fishing.

I have the heavier L-R's.

Matt - sounds advice. Thanks. The literature states it can handle lines from 4 - 10lbs?

And yes, you're right - it's 12ft...

My L-R's have the line rating printed on the blank, just at near the female joint on the tip section.

3-6lb - I was looking at a mate's rods yeterday.
