Ive fished worsborough a couple of times in the last few months, its only a few miles up the road from me.

cracking venue.

Good thing about Worsborough is the variety, so its hard to tip you on best methods etc..

If i was fishing a match I would target the Bream on the feeder, fishmeal type GB with squats & micro pellets, red maggot on the hook, strongish wire 18 to 2-3lb bottom. I wouldnt go any lighter than this as it has been stocked with carp in the last few years that now go to 3-4 lb and they can pull back a bit.

Do you know what pegs you have got ?

reason I ask is that one side of the Dam tends to be won by fishig for the carp on the method, the other side bream dominate.

also in the shallower top end it is possible to put together 20-30 lb of quality roach on the pole with caster or hemp.

Sorry, but ive probably made things harder for you now !!!

Beuty of worsborough is any method can come up with the goods on the right day.
