Well done for giving it a go Gary and as for your original doubts about whether you were good enough ask yourself this, how would you ever have known if you hadn't competed? All those 'names' started at the bottom as well you know and though the step up into big opens and festivals is a ginormous one (to say nothing of the cost) it has to be taken if you are ever to compete against the best.

Thanks for that Graham. Like you said there is a great step up from club matches to opens then to festivals and alot of hard work and money, but with a little luck in the draw bag you just never no !!!!!

Well done Gary, i really enjoy reading stories of success like that. As Graham has said you would never have known if you could do it if you hadn't tried. Once more Well done and keep trying and letting us all know how you get along.
