went out looking for a new float rod last saturday, im actualy after a diawa spectron 14ft spliced tip, but none of the shops in my area had one in stock for me to look at, one had the 13ft version and it felt lovely but im after something a tad longer

 however, I was realy tempted by the normark, one of the shops had just one in stock and offered it to me at a very tempting price, I wont name the shop in case someone beats me to it !

Buetiful feeling rod, lovely soft tip action, just what im after.

the only reason i didnt buy it was i was a little concerned about how the bottom section and the 12in extension piece fit onto the butt right at the top of the handle, just didnt look right to me, quite a short male piece that looks a bit feeble

any one got one, and what do you think ?

just found the thread at the 3rd attempt, funny, the search found nothing frst 2 times ?

anyway, it was by Steve eddy, but t was about a broken tip and the trouble steve was having getting a new one, thats now added to my reservations about the rod

please dont post on here now unless your going to say how good it is because ive been out and bought it !

bargain at £149 i reckon, ive not seen one advertised for less than £200. I took the last microlite, but if anyones interested they have 2x 13/14ft titans going for the same price. I was in two minds which one to get as they seem almost the same, microlite is a tad softer in the middle seemed the only difference.
