I've used the bigger Magnums - big minnow-shaped lures - with some success. Wouldn't bother with the smaller ones as they're light and difficult to cast any distance.
Rapala Originals are ok but the bigger ones have three trebles which you don't really need.
Another worth a look is the biggest size of Jointed Rapala - J13 (because it's 13cms long...) I've probably caught more pike on these than any other lure.
My favourite is the biggest-sized Shad Rap because they're really versatile. Worth a look if you're fishing on a budget because you can fish them several different ways; twitch them back slowly and they just bulge the surface film, rip them and they go down six or eight feet, or jerk them along and they really flash and vibrate.
