Another middle aged newbie.............

Just joined today,so thought i`d better say hello to all of you.

Have been fishing for around 30+ yrs

I used to fish alot on the Trent, but over the last 8-10 yrs moved over to fishing commercials as well.Main target fish:Roach,Bream,Tench,Chub,Carp.I fish mainly pole or feeder, but still like to trot a small stick float down the Trent.............

Really looking forward to being a member of FISHINGmagic !

Thanks for a warm welcome!I am just begining to find my way around the site.

To answer "Slime monster`s" Q....I had been fishing rivers, gravel pits,& large lakes

for years, and having bought my first pole about 10 yrs ago, thought it was time

to try it out,ie:for it`s intended purpose, catching roach[roachpole],then onto carp.

Have been fishing pole ever since,I just think the presentation of the bait is far far better

than using a float rod, plus you can place feed on top of their heads! And when the elastic

starts whizzing out when you have a big fish on,you just can`t beat it..........

Anyway,cheers for now..........
