Hi.

Want to buy bite alarms for a stalker fox pod.

Is the delkims worth the money and where is the best place to buy them.

And what is the best to use with alarms swingers or bite indicators.

 Any info will be appreciated.

Greetings

GERT

I bought my Delkims on the assumption that I will only have to buy them once.

They come with a 2 year gaurantee.  The volume can be turned down from very loud to nothing.  and of course there is the tone and sensitivity setting.  A lot of people use hangers, but I use home made swingers.  It's purely a personal choice.

I got the EV's from Daves of Middlewich for £58 plus a bit of discount.  A company that will give you a 2 year garauntee isn't going to sell you crap.

Of course there are cheaper alarms but  Remember, Buy Cheap Buy Twice.

Haha, there goes Daves of Middlewich Delkim dealership then!!Delkims are a fixed price that don't allow the shops to discount them otherwise they loose their account.

Anyway Delkims, how much are Txi's?£120 odd quid?Battery cover don't fit properly, water ingress. One heavy down pour and let the problems start!!!

For £120 i'd expect them to be water proof.

Are they worth the money.........

Ron and Clif you make me  ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

delkims are very waterproof and the battery cover fits ok if you fit the battery properly

I personally dont like Delks because of the noise they make and the price holding......but electronic wise you cant knock them

SMART ARSE MURPHY.

I got the discount because I bought other equipment at the same time.  Some of which was there own brand.  Pick the bones out of that.

Yes you tell him Bazza!!!.If I was going to spend a few quid on a new alarm it would be a delkim,as some of the thirty, forty pound models are no different to a ten pound one ,they have the same features. If you want it for smaller species the delkim seems to be the one to get.
