Ryan, seeing as you work in a tackle shop and have access to lots of lovely good kit im sure you could have chosen a better article to do a review on.  I mean a drennan disgorger for heavens sake. you give it a score but dont write anything at all about it.  how does it feel in your hands ? is it soft, hard, too long, too short, just right.  Is it moulded correctly ? is there a nasty sharp join that might give you a papercut ?  could they come in lots of different colours ? are they suitable for left handed anglers ? are they easy to see if you drop them in the long grass ?  Are they value for money ? they should be considering you dish out lots of them to the newbies and begginers who never seem to have one on the bank at the local venues you fish (see earlier post on a different thread)  or are you just choosing  articles at random in order to catapault you to pole position on the leader board ?  I await your response and all the others from the good citizens of FM telling me to back off lol.

Would be a bit peeved if I was paying money to advirtise my fishing tackle shop on site.I take it those on the top left pay for there name to be put in the box?

If they do, if I was them I would just get one of the employees to join the site with the user name of my tackle shop and  keep posting under my shops name and doing reviews all the time, hey presto free advirtising on the busiest fishing site on the net.Genius.

Just a silly question.......

Can you buy a left handed one?

I have an orange one, but it doesn't get used much

Ryan, are you hoping to win the prize for review of the month?

Show/hide user stats
No Matt, i am not doing anything of what you are saying, i am more than happy not to be included in the competition, and wouldn't accept the prize if i won it - it wouldn't be fair.

To be honest, i don't get all of the kit in the world to look at, and i am not sponsored, (i get 20% discount off of my tackle and thats off of RRP) it wouldn't surprise me if you could get the stuff cheaper than me from the web.

I have changed my user, to the above, so all reviews, posts etc are not advertising, as i haven't been working much i have had time to spare, and i couldn't get out fishing, or golf etc, so instead of sitting there doing nowt, i thought i would write reviews of what i have been using, even the small stuff. As you can see, i don't have the most expensive of gear, i don't have to 2 grand pole, or the 100 quid pod (i don't even have a pod) or 300 quid big pits, century rods etc.

I won't bother contributing to this forum, if that is how you and other members feel, and i apologize for any inconvenience, an a big sorry to Graham and all of his partners, and shops etc that advertise on this site,

Forum Members

I wish you all the very best in all of your fishing sessions and hope you catch the fish you want to.

Graham, sorry again for what i am accused off, i did't want to advertise, and if i did, i would of put an ad in with you, if you look through my post not very often do i mention where i work

Nice one Trev!!!

Ryan just ignore it mate, Trev is jealous cos he aint got the top spot, he admitted it already.

Show/hide user stats

Ryan, relax mate!

If the boss had a serious beef he would have said something directly to you, of that I am sure.

Do not cease to post mate, its a good site and you make good contributions. The problem with this here interwebthingeo is that often, words in black and white  often appear much more harsh than what they would if it were said face to face, it's very easy to misconstrue what is being said, and often a bit of gentle pi55 taking gets magnified and turns into something which it is not.

Ryan

No problem here mate. Read my thread again. I was taking the p out of me! Plus, given your number of reviews, I just wondered if you were after the prize (which you are entitled to as much as anyone).

Is this the same prize that I recently won?

Wish I had something new to review.

Hang on!

I bought some Raptors and Korda safety swivel links.............I wonder

I never saw any hint of advertising other than perhaps your name.

I think as Eddie said if the boss had a problem he would most likely have got the hounds to bite off your knackers... so to help prevent this from happening i would like to start a campaign...

'Saving Ryans Privates'.

Just kidding, as im sure you know, ignore all the banter, it goes around.

Ryan ya poof stop blubbing...

Like Eddie said above  words in black and white often appear to be harsh.  Apart from the smiley icons and stuff there is no way of showing emotions and such like on a web site.  We all like you really, your very much a part of this site and you need to change your user name back to Ryan.  You could even add something to it that is a bit more dynamic such as Ryan the destroyer or summit.

Have a look at the events and fish ins and come along to a few of em, you will soon see what a nice (but slightly crazy) bunch we are.

Ive inserted a few icons to show that im sorry you took the huff and that im a nice person really

Trev perhaps you'd like to send Ryan a small gift as a gesture. Nothing too pricey, a Harrisons Rod or an orange disgorger.
