I'd expect to be able to use a match kit with elastics up to around the ten mark. Power kits should cope with the bigger elastics up to the maximum rating of the pole.
Match kits are not meant for whip style (no elastic) fishing. They are meant to be cut back and then have elastic fitted. That's why there's no ring or flick tip type adaptor.

Sorry another question the top section is telescopic. How many sections should i put elastic threw? Can i get small bungs if only in slimmer sections?
