sometimes in a supposed chub swim a barbel is the first bite.i dont fish any lighter for chub.how can anybody say i am on 4lb line because i dont expect big fish.this theory is in some of the angling papers and will mislead a young angler looking for info.last year i had 25 chub from the same swim over 4lb to 5 /2.next visit suprise suprise i had 4 barbel on the drop to 5lb.i now no longer regard this swim as chub only.i say this for the young man looking for tips not to tell good anglers how to do it.
