I love my job. This is a limestone canyon formed by the River Tarn, the two anglers a guide and his pupil.

The fishing wasn't up to much - just small browns to about 1lb - but many of the area's 600 griffon vultures soar overhead on wings nine feet across, and the place is idyllic.

The walk back up was a toughie, though. I must get some breathable waders instead of my neoprenes....
