How much do you trust your gut instinct ?
I've had many experiences of this, including one I ignored and a river record was caught, half an hour later !

I think of it as a combination of water craft and gut instinct
But sometimes you fish a swim that just feels right and more often these pay off

gut instinct is your brain telling you something but you don't know why its doing it , usually if you take time to stop and think why you will uncover the answer.
