New to barbel fishing, only ever fished ponds back 10-15 years ago.
Started on the Barbel quest early November 2016, I fished my heart out for a Barbel, 3-4 weeks of Chub and blanks I was getting disheartened with it. I tried again and bang 7lb 4oz Barbel on the Swale.
chuffed to bits.
Yesterday I fished in poring rain with river rising very slowly.I decided to Fish into dark with single baits on 2 rods no freebies and it happened, A cracking 10lb 10oz Barbel absolutely over the moon. I am addicted and cannot wait for the Christmas hols . More winter Barbel please.
