Perch help

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I have 3 different types of lures 2" in size.

Just casting out and reeling it in, Sometimes fast and sometimes slow moving the rod up and down.

I'm seeing the perch! I've seen them also jump in front of me, But I just can't hook one!!

Any tips or advice please?

Try using smaller shads in a fry pattern, of about 1"-1.5" with a small jighead and just jiggle the tip about to impart some movement in the fry.... or set up your end game in the "Drop-Shot" fashion
