for split shot ,i try too follow the devide by two rule and only carry shot sizes that double down

Split shot size Weight Shot equivalent
~~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
these only used for ledger weight
3SSG --------- 4.8g -------- 6 x AAA
2SSG ----------3.2g -------- 4 x AAA
================================================== ====
these used as bulk or ledger weight or locking shot ,probably my most used shot
SSG ---------- 1.6g --------- 2 x AAA
================================================== =====
these used for float capacity weight often stepped down or split into smaller shots ,i never have too work out what works into what eveything divides by two
AAA ---------- 0.8g --------- 2 x BB
BB ---------- 0.4g --------- 2 x No4 my second most used shot
No4 ---------- 0.2g -------- 3 x No9
No6 ---------- 0.1g -------- 2 x No10
================================================== =====
these lower sizes are often ,substituted by styles or preston stotz weights
No9 ---------- 0.05g
No12 --------- 0.02g -------- 2 x No13
No13 --------- 0.01g
this way theres less too worry about and less too carry a stock of .
