Hi There all,
There i was dreaming about getting into some serious fishing again after a 2yr layof due to a bad car accident.I go and fall of some step ladder;s while finishing of felting a new shed,i'd been care all day while iwas on roof & going up down large ladder's i had go to go & fall of a small set of step ladder's and fracture my wrist,so i'm do up plaster on right arm from elbow to wrist .So no fishing for at least another 6 week's.So keep the mail's coming i'll have plenty of time at least 6 week's of work to read &

I don't know how old you are Alan but there comes a time in one's life where you have to take stock and stop doing the things you could do with ease in you youth like putting felt on sheds and going up step ladders.

A very good friend of mine was nagged for months to re-decorate the house. As a result he fell off a ladder and suffered a broken leg plus a severe compound fracture of the pelvis. He was in hospital several weeks and after 18 months still cannot walk, get to work or drive the car, all because his blinking missus wanted the lounge a new colour. There are more important things in life than decorating the lounge, like living, working and fishing!

I'm 56 ,I normally would agree you,I won't decorate or DIY during my holiday's ',believing holiday's are for just that not decorating Etc i v'e got load's of mate's that let the wive's get them at it during their holiday'But my garden looked like a tip.Not touched it for 2 yr's. I was only spending the compensation money,Don't worry
iv'e ear marked a couple of hundred or so,
for 2 Kevin Nash Hooligan Carp rod's&2 Shimano Big Baitrunner Reel's as soon i can get over to Fisherman's Friend at Bearwood
near Birmimngham to order them.
