drawing a blank

Posted 22-10-2009 at 17:44 by jonnie

This monday I fished the aire at silsden bridge, targeting chub with flake and mash. Ive never had much experience with chub but and to my suprise I blanked, putting it down to my lack of knowledge but I will be back! The minnows were still around so I might leave it until the first frosts have cooled everything down to give it another go, I would love to get one!

good old bread

It was the first time I've fished that far up the aire and I was pleasantly suprised even with the main road directly behind how nice it was, the swims looked very fishy, lots of over hanging trees and creases for the chub to hide away in.
