my guess would be that they can't make a quality rod for that price, however, sometimes you get lucky on the first batch and then quality drops.

the only way to tell is to get into the shop and have a play. then like everything else its in the hands of the gods. I've paid 250 pounds for a handmade rod by Vic Gibson that snapped on the first cast lol. Not that it was an issue as it was replaced immediately at no cost to myself

I am a bit dubious too roto, but Korum do seem to get a lot right, unfortunately I am in Italy so will be a while til I get my hands on one.

Korum rod seem to have a good rep though, or am I wrong?

I've seen pics of them. They look the dogs danglies.Judging by the rest of the Korum rod range they should be top notch.I'm looking to get a pair in a while,it's about time a rod manufacturer produced a carp rod with full cork.Looks more of "fishing rod" than the rest that produce split duplon or what ever.
